We will deliver the product that you have ordered including the correct size, colour, and style on or before the date you have specified for delivery on your order. Except where we have indicated to you that your request for this is not possible or guaranteed and therefore your order has been amended. Products may appear different in colour and style then the images listed on the website. Our liability to you for failure to deliver a product you have ordered is limited only to timely delivery.
Get Dressed Hire provides a live online calendar on its Website which shows the availability of Garments. You can rent from Get Dressed Hire by selecting a Garment and making an Order to rent the Garment for Your nominated dates by clicking “Add to Cart”.
The “rental fee” for the products will be the rental fee and delivery fees and any additional charges listed on the website in relation to your rental of products. When you order a product you authorize Get Dressed Hire to charge your payment method for your rental fee. We will charge your Payment method immediately upon receiving your order. In addition to your rental order for a product, you authorize Get Dressed Hire to charge your payment method up to an amount to 200% of the entire original retail value of the product as set in the “retail value” on the website. Provided we only charge your payment method when you have not upheld your commitment to us as set forth in the rental agreement below
Despite Get Dressed Hire’s reasonable efforts, prices and/or information for Garments may be listed incorrectly. Get Dressed Hire reserves the right at any time to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that Your Order has been confirmed and Your credit card has been charged. In such circumstances, any debited funds will be remitted to Your credit card or to Your account (whichever is applicable).
All garments are dry cleaned, steamed or pressed and thoroughly inspected before leaving our studio, it is important to note that use of our garments are at your own risk and we will not be held liable for any health related complaints associated with our hire garments. Please note our garments have been worn by other customers before your rental.
Get Dressed Hire will arrange for the delivery of the dress to the delivery address nominated by You (Delivery Address). Risk in the Garment passes to You upon delivery to the Delivery Address and terminates upon receipt of the Garment from You by Get Dressed hire. All delivery dates and times provided by Get Dressed Hire are estimates only. You agree that no delay will entitle You to terminate the Order and/or to claim for any consequential loss or damage.
Your delivery can be delivered to you up to 6:00pm on the requested day of delivery or earlier. If you are unavailable to sign for this delivery it may be taken back to the depot or post office for collection by you. It is your responsibility to be available for delivery of your item/s or collection of your item when you have been available. Your rental period starts from the time the courier attempted first delivery.
Once delivery has been made to your nominated address you bear all responsibility for your product. If you have opted to have your dress delivered to your work address, responsibility is passed to you as soon as someone has signed for the dress. A secure shipping address is highly recommended when placing your order. In the event that an unsecure shipping address is provided Get Dressed Hire does not bare any responsibility for the product left unattended. If you are unavailable to receive the item Get Dressed Hire will not be held responsible for additional shipping delays or additional shipping charged passed on by delivery service
With delivery of your dress, a pre-paid return envelope is provided. Please ensure that you place your dress inside the self-addressed envelope, the dangerous goods declaration on the front of the satchel is signed and return to an Australia Post outlet by 2pm on the last day of your rental. Please do not put into a red Australia Post box. Get Dressed Hire will not take responsibility for lost articles mailed in Australia post boxes. If you lose your return packaging it is your responsibility to return the garment via trackable express post to Get Dressed Hire. You must provide tracking details to email@example.com in order to avoid further borrowing charges.
If you return your dress via an Australia Post Outlet (highly recommended) where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement then the article will be deemed as returned and we will accept responsibility for the article after the first scan. If you return your dress via an Australia Post Box and the dress is not scanned and is lost by Australia Post then you accept responsibility for this loss and will be required to pay the retail cost of the dress less the rental fee already paid.
If the Garment becomes unavailable (due to damage or late return by another Member), Get Dressed Hire will notify You as soon as reasonably possible. In that event, You can either rent another Garment or have the debited funds remitted to Your credit card or to Your bank account.
Please keep in mind that someone else is counting on this garment for their special event. If you do not return the dress by the nominated due date, you will charged $25 per day, with a total penalty of twice the retail value of the garment being due for any garment not returned after 14 calendar days.
If you are late returning a dress, or post it incorrectly in a red street post box, and as a result another client misses out on wearing the dress if they have it booked after you, you will be charged for the lost hire also.
You agree to treat our products like you would your own. You will treat the garment with the upmost of care. You will not attempt to fit into a dress that is too small for you, you will not try and zip up a dress that is too tight and therefore damage the zip. You are responsible for any damage to the dress due to fire, major stains, theft or loss. Normal wear and tear is considered minor stains which can be removed in dry cleaning, small seam rips, missing beads and sequins, stuck zippers. If you return a product and it is damaged beyond normal wear and tear then you agree that we shall charge you, and you will pay, for the price of repairing the product or if the product is unable to be repaired you agree to pay up to the full retail value of the dress (as listed on our website). This price will be at the Discretion of Get Dressed Hire.
If you wish to cancel your order please let us know as soon as you can by contacting customer service on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to take care of it for you.
(a) Cancellations that are made twenty eight (28) days or more prior to commencement of the proposed hiring period will receive a full refund, with no cancellation fee.
(b) Cancellations that are made less than 28 days prior to commencement of the proposed hiring period will receive a credit voucher for the full hiring fee which can be used within 1 year of issue
Please choose carefully. Get Dressed Hire understand that all dresses may not fit correctly or look as expected by the Customer therefore we offer a credit note less shipping costs. Get Dressed Hire asks that the Customer contacts email@example.com within 2 hours of receiving the dress. The dress must be returned in our nominated return envelope by the next day or you may forfeit your right to obtain the credit. We will determine, at our sole discretion, whether the product is “unworn” prior to any refund being issued.
Last minute/Same day hire
Any last minute or same day hires (organised manually due to the event date being within 4 business days) will be subject to a $25 fee that is billed to the customer’s invoice. This charge accounts for additional processing costs associated with facilitating the hire to be sent as soon as possible. Last minute hires are organised when the customer is confident with the size, length and fit of a garment. No refunds will be authorised if there are problems with garment fit. In the event the garment does not fit/is too long, a credit note can be organised minus postage and handling charges (approx. $30).
Can I try on a dress?
Get Dressed Hire run out of a residential studio located in Shell Cove, Wollongong.
We are able to accommodate appointments during the week from 7 pm and all weekend by appointment. If you are interested in booking an appointment please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event that your debit/credit card is declined for any amounts that you owe to us, and you do not subsequently pay those amounts to us by another method, collection of your debt will be pursued. In addition to any outstanding amounts owed to us, you will be liable for any collection agency or Court fees.
We reserve the right to refuse, at our sole discretion, to hire any products to you at any time.
You authorise us to charge your debit/credit card with any amount for damages made to the garment while in your possession, in a condition not in accordance with normal wear and tear.
Normal wear and tear will be determined at our sole discretion, however we will generally consider fair wear and tear to include any minor stains that can be easily removed, minor seam tears and small missing parts (e.g. sequins).
When purchasing from Get Dressed Hire, Customer’s financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
